Born in Newberry, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Willie Freeman Hendrix.
Mrs. Coker earned an Associate’s degree from Draughn’s Business College and retired from Echols Oil Company where she was a bookkeeper. She was a member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church.
Surviving are sons, Jerry Coker and wife, Kathy and Glenn Coker; grandchildren, David Coker and Christopher Coker, all of Greenville; great grandchildren, Jonah Coker, Jeramiah Coker, both of Fountain Inn and Evan Coker of Greenville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters and a special sister-in-law.
Burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
