Myrtle M. Robinson, 89, died February 20, 2017 at Mennonite Friendship Communities. She was born March 3, 1927, the daughter of Travis and Anna Avery. She attended Hutchinson schools and was retired from USD 308 School Food Service.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, and was a RSVP volunteer with Friendship Meals, as well as a volunteer with Hospice of Reno County.
On April 7, 1947 she married Virgil Southards, he died January 7, 1984. She later married Donald Robinson on July 24, 1985 in Miami, OK, he died September 30, 2012. Survivors include her sister Doris Cottle (Bob), Hutchinson, two daughters; Brenda Booth (Mike), Eldorado, Janet Smith (Steve), Fall River, WI, son, Fred French (Paula), Hope, three step-daughters; Gloria Armstrong (Larry), South Hutchinson, Sharon Smith (Fred), Okmulgee, OK, Pat Dunsworth (Terry), Hutchinson, step-son, Bob Robinson (Frankie), Hutchinson, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Kent Pedersen presiding. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday with the family present from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Reno County in care of the funeral home
