Galen G. Hutson age 71, of Pioneer, Tennessee, departed this life on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Beech Tree Manor Nursing Home in Jellico, Tennessee.

He was born January 30, 1946 to the late Johnny Hutson and Ruthie Burress Hutson. He was a Member of the Antioch Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Galen Allen Hutson; brothers Ernest Hutson, James Glenn Hutson, David Hutson and Hoyal Hutson; sisters Alma Fisher, Gladys Carroll, Phyllis Hatfield, Ellen Lowe and Novagene Masterpetero.

He is survived by his loving children Carla Trammell and boyfriend Matthew Stomm, Melissa Lowe and husband Gaylon, Amanda Chitwood and husband Dana, Odas Hutson and wife Brandy, Serelda Day; grandchildren: Samantha Ruth Day, Casey Chitwood, Victoria Grace Hutson, Latasha Pierce, Summer Trammell, Chris Trammell, Joshua Trent Vanover, Chelsie Lowe, Cody Lowe, Dalton Chitwood, Chloee Chitwood, Darlana Hutson, Odas Glen Hutson, Jr., MyKayla Oakley, Kaleb Oakley, Andrew Chitwood, Julia Chitwood, Brittany Day; (6) great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Evelyn Hutson and Phyllis Hutson; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive family and friends for a Memorial Service from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Straight Fork Community Center.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations towards funeral expense.
