She was the daughter of Hawley Lowe, Jr. and Josephine Isabella Abernathy. While living in Montana, Nellie married Lewis Miller on August 6, 1904 and within a few years they were divorced. September 21, 1910 she married Ira G. Tuggle, but again they divorced. On November 12, 1918 she was married again, this time to Albert Rutherford. Albert and Nellie left Montana and were living in Spokane, Washington in the 1920 census. By 1930 Nellie and Albert were divorced and he was married again. Nellie remained single until her death. I haven't found the cemetery she is buried in but I'm guessing that she may have been cremated. In her obituary it said her son, Charles Miller of Louisiana and a granddaughter, Margie Wederbrock of Spokane. I discovered Margie was actually Charles Miller's stepdaughter and also a con artist. It's my guess that she either never paid for a headstone or had Nellie cremated. For now I am putting Nellie in the same cemetery as her sister.
