Sergeant James Oliver Godwin was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SGT Godwin served our country until October 2nd, 1969 in Binh Hoa, South Vietnam. He was 22 years old and was married. It was reported that James died when his vehicle crashed. His body was recovered. SGT Godwin is on panel 17W, line 026 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
