Harold was employed by the Local #600, Carpenters Union, Bethlehem, for many years until retiring in 1993. Previously he was a general farmer in Towamensing Township. Harold attended Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trachsville. He was a social member of the VFW, Palmerton Post. Harold enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Survivors: Daughters, Donna M. wife of Richard George, Mary A. wife of Leo Strohl, all of Lehighton. Bonnie L. wife of Donald Serfass of Aquashicola. Sons, Roger D. of Palmerton, Gary L. and wife Debbie of Lehighton. 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Anna Gower of Tucson, Arizona, and Shirley wife of Raymond Hawk, of Palmerton, and Barbara Meckes, Palmerton. Brothers, Marvin and wife Gloria, Palmerton, and, Donald, Palmerton. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Sylvia Rex, Florence Bonser, and brothers, Alfred J., Jr., and Carl.
Services: Future interment will be at Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery, Trachsville, PA. Arrangements are by Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.
