Carl E. "Pinky" Bartholomew, 73, of 435 Hill Road, Palmerton, died June 5 in his home. He would have been married to Audrey A. (Green) Bartholomew for 44 years today.
He was a maintenance manager for 28 years for the late attorney Martin Philip, Palmerton.
Born in Towamensing Township, he was a son of the late Alfred and Edith (Snyder) Bartholomew.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, attaining the rank of corporal and being awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7134, Palmerton.
He was a member of the Palmer Rod & Gun Club.
Survivors: Wife; sons, Barrett of Palmerton, Brian of Kunkletown, Blaine of Lehighton; brothers, Alfred of Palmerton, Marvin, Harold and Donald, all of Lehighton; sisters, Anna Gower in Arizona, Florence Bonser of Lehighton, Shirley Hawk and Barbara Mackes, both of Palmerton; four grandchildren.
Services: graveside, 11 a.m. Monday, Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery, Trachsville.
