Wayne was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam, First Calvary Infantry Division.
He loved spending time with his family, vacationing, fishing and telling stories.
Wayne was the loving husband of Carol (nee Franson) Bracken; the beloved father of Sherri (David) Kandow and Sheila (Chad) Vaughn; the dearest brother of Joyce (Don) Norton, Faye Bowers and Doug (Ronni) Bracken; proud grandfather of Alyssa Kandow, Griffin Vaughn and Owen Vaughn; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and brother in law and sister in laws.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Edith Travis.
Arrangements entrusted to the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Frankfort.
Interment: Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
