Alstott, Clarice M. (King)

Age 67 of Wilmington passed away suddenly Wednesday January 17, 2007 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.

Born September 20, 1939 in Detroit, MI, Clarice was a daughter of the late Dee and Mary (Wade) King. She was a graduate of St. Rose School and Wilmington HS (1957). Clarice married Allen Alstott on October 07, 1961 in St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, where she was a member. She was also a member of the Wilmington VFW Aux. and loved spending time with her family. Clarice was a cerebral hemorrhage survivor since 1974 and was given a great gift of life for the past 33 years.

Survivors include her husband, Allen; two sons, Mark (MaryAnne) and Kevin (Tammy), both of South Bend, IN; and one daughter, Deon (Brian) Lyday of Indianapolis, IN; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, William, Jessica and Alyssa Alstott and Quinlan and Maisie Lyday; and one Uncle Patrick Wade of MI.

Clarice was preceded by her parents and one granddaughter, Emily Alstott.

Visitation will be Monday, January 22, 2007 from 5-8PM at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington. Funeral Mass will follow Tuesday, January 23rd at 10AM in Saint Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington.

Interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
