Leona Allison

Mrs. Leona M. Allison, 67, of 1515 Cleveland Ave. was pronounced dead on arrival Sunday at 10:10 p.m. in City Hospital following a year's illness. She was born May 8, 1909, in Hookstown, a daughter of James Potts and Elizabeth Potts. She had resided most of her life in the tri - state area. In addition to her husband, Raymond R. Allison, whom she married March 16, 1926, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Mary Louise) McElhaney of Rogers; two sons, James R. Allison of Chester and Howard R. Allison at home; a brother, Howard C. Potts of Hookstown; nine grandchildren and four great - grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery, Hookstown. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon and night.
