RAWLS -- Sunday evening, Jan. 3, 1943, at the residence of his daughters, Mrs. Susie Browning and Mrs. George Liddle, Jr., 2712 West Linden Avenue, DAVID L. RAWLS, aged 87 years. Father of Mrs. George Liddle, Jr., Mrs. Susie Browning, Miss Bettie Rawls, Arch and Ernest Rawls, all of Nashville, Frank Rawls, Goodletsville, Berlin Rawls, Chicago, Illinois, Porter Rawls, Detroit, Michigan, Ardie Rawls and Mrs. Ernest Dillard, Springfield, Tennessee; brother of C. E. Rawls, Joelton, Tennessee; 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Remains are at the residence as above. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. J. T. Coleman and Rev. J. W. Elder, will be held from the Mount Sharon Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Springfield) at 3 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders of Mount Sharon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. His sons will serve as active pallbearers. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery in Springfield, Tennessee.
