Craig Whonsetler LaOtto, died March 8, 2001 in his LaOtto home. He had worked at LaOtto Farm Supply since 1986 and was a lifetime LaOtto resident. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in LaOtto and a 1973 graduate of East Noble High School. He was born December 11, 1953 in Kendallville to Joseph N. and Edith (Uhl) Whonsetler. His mother survives in Avilla and his father died June 8, 1997. He married Pamala Jo Kirkpatrick on October 23, 1982 in Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Nichole of New Port Richey, Fla.; a stepdaughter, April and Tim Baird of LaOtto; 2 stepsons and their wives, Christopher and Katrina Wolfe of Churubusco and Bert and Stacey Wolfe of Wolcottville; a brother, Guy of LaOtto; and a sister, Linda Coy of Albion. Services in Brazzell Funeral Home, Avilla. Burial, Hooper-King Cemetery.
