On August 11, 1833 - personally appeared before Judges for Court of Common Pleas of Berks County, Pennsylvania, Susanna Philippi resident of Berks, aged 69 years, Said she was widow of Abraham Philippi, a musician in militia and afterwards a private in regular service of U.S. in Revolutionary War.
He served first as drafted militia man as musician for 2 months, that he marched from Reading under Capt. Rightmeyer (who the other Cos, officers were she doesn't know, nor can she tell to what regiment he was attached) toiivards Philadelphia, and after absence of said term he returned to Reading and
sometime after (cannot say how long nor can she mention the time when he first marched as a militia man but knows it was during Rev» War.) he the aforesaid Abraham Philippi enlisted as private in Regular Army of U.S., she is unable to name officers under whom he served but knows he was again marched
from Reading on the Road leading to Philadelphia, and was absent 7 months and better when he again returned to Reading that Reading was then and up to his death his residence. She declared that she married Abraham Philippi December 25, 1787 - that her husband died 1-17-1812, that she remained a widow ever since.
Peter Stichter vouched for veracity of about statements on 8-14-1338
Sebastian Allgaier also testified on 8-18-1838 that he saw Abraham in service, as a musician in Capt. Rightmyer's Company when he Sebastian was in Capt. Geist's Company. Thinks both their companies marched from Reading at same time and continued together during tour of duty of 2 months. The 2 companies marched under Col. liinter of Militia (Col» Hinter called Col. JSger) to Philadelphia, thence to Chester where they encamped a short time, then to Wilmington. Algaier states Abraham Philippi was then a mere stripling of about 16 or 17 years, but about ten years from time of his military service or perhaps some years earlier he married aforesaid Susanna.

Dec. 25, 1787 - married Abraham Philippi and Susanna Kremer both of Reading.

Susanna Philippi died 10-27-1840 upon her death she was survived by Peter, George, and Charles.
Peter Philipi on 11-16-1343 when he appeared in court and took solemn oath and made following declaration to obtain benefits of provisions of act of Congres of 7-7-1838, (he Peter was resident of Berks and vms in his 43th. year) This on Declaration 9829.
On 9-30-1352 - George and Peter Philippi appeared before David Medary, alderman of Reading. Peter was 57 years and George 55 years.
John Boos said Abraham Philippi was born in Reading. Statement made 2-24-1855. At this time Peter states that Abraham and Susanna had numerous children but on 11-16-1843 the only survivors were Peter, Philip, and George, Rev. and 1812 War Section, Unites States
