A. V. Cheshier, age 81, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 13, 2007. Born in Newport, Arkansas, on January 7, 1926, he was the son of the late Richard and Maude (Fivecoats) Cheshier.
Mr. Cheshier was a retired factory worker for Buick in Flint, Michigan. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army. Mr. Cheshier had been a resident of Heber Springs for the past seven years. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Lucretia Cheshier of Wilburn; his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Mike Freiberger of Glennie, Michigan; five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Mr. Cheshier is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
