Mrs. Catherine Ontis, 74, well-known resident of the Nutwood vicinity, in western Jersey county, died at her home in that locality Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock.
Funeral services were scheduled for this afternoon Tue. July 5, 1938, from the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fieldon, the Rev. Leonard F. Todd, officiating. The internment will be in Fieldon Cemetery.

She was the daughter of the late James and Sarah Smith Walsh, pioneer residents of Richwoods township. She is survived by three sons and three daughters; Larry, Harry, and William Ontis, Miss Blanche Ontis, Mrs. Sophia Skinner and Mrs. Ida Gondolia Cope. She was the widow of James Ontis, of the pioneer families of Henry Ontis and Nancy Ennis, of Quarry and Rosedale Townships.
