Funeral services for Archie Wells, 70 years old, of 801 Euclid Avenue, who died at 2:30 o'clock Friday morning, were conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday Afternoon at the Derfelt-Booe funeral chapel, with the Rev. Dow Booe officiating. Burial was in Messer cemetery.
Pallbearers were Roy Cory, Sam Monroe, Richard Monroe, Nathan Collins, George Hansbraugh and Clifford Hayward.
Archie Wells, a Galena resident all his life, had been ill two years. He was a mechanic by trade.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Vera Hernandez of St. Joseph, MO. three brothers and three grandchildren.
Listed as a Machinist at MoGull Mining Co. in Picher, Oklahoma.
