WARRENSBURG — Loren W. Beal, 92, of Warrensburg, IL, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at Primrose Assisted Living Center in Decatur.

Retired farmer of 50 years, he never lost his entrepreneurial spirit that he liked to call “Beal Luck”. Beloved Husband of Marjorie Beal, Loving father of David (Soheila) Beal and Andrew (Sarah) Beal; daughter-in-laws Debby and Patricia; Cherished grandfather of Krista, Amy, Jenny, Alison, Kate, Robert, and Allison and great grandchildren Makenzie, Bennett, Joshua, Josiah, Rebecca, Kaley, Ryan and Natalie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Ruth Beal, sister Anna Rae Anderson, brother Ernest, and sons Kenneth and John Beal. Loren proudly served his country during WWII in the 526th Battalion and as a liaison pilot in Germany.

Visitation is Friday, July 13, 2012 between the hours of 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home, Maroa, IL. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Schleeter officiating.

Memorial may be directed to the Warrensburg United Methodist Church.
