Geraldine Powers, age 83 of Lexington, KY (formerly of London, KY), widow of Bryan Powers Sr., passed away on Friday, January 27 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY.
She leaves behind one son, Chuck Powers and wife Charlotte of Lexington, KY; five siblings, Betty Lubrecht, Robertine Brown, Lois Creech, Ella Peace, Denny Mullins; three grandchildren, Bryan Powers III, Sam Powers, Mary Audrey Powers; two step-grandchildren, Dylan and Alex Berry; three great-grandchildren, Dallas, Colton and Hendrix Powers, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Powers Sr.; parents, El Hannon & Rose Mullins; three siblings, Ronnie Mullins, Danny Mullins, Patricia Payne and one great-granddaughter, Madison Grace Powers.
She was a retired bank teller with Cumberland Valley National Bank, member of Laurel River Baptist Church and member of the Women's Missionary Union Chapter of Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington, KY. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service for Geraldine Powers will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
