Bianca Galliani Girombelli
AGE: 81

Bianca Girombelli passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 27th. Born December 6, 1935 in Bagnara di Romagna near Bologna, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Elena and Ugo Galliani and lived for 81 beautiful years.

Bianca's childhood coincided with the Nazi Italian occupation, and she recounted chilling stories from those days. Destined to be a traveler, after marrying she lived in several countries including France, Germany and Mexico and eventually settled in North Brunswick, NJ in 1975. The family later criss-crossed the state, living in Cherry Hill, Mays Landing, Manalapan, Mansfield, Hamilton, Hainesport and finally Westampton.

In Italy, Bianca obtained her teaching degree and taught elementary school Italian. She was a marvelous cook in the wonderful Bolognese culinary tradition learned from her mother. Perhaps Bianca's greatest talent was her painting artistry. She specialized in oils and created many wonderful works of art, and her paintings of various flowers were especially beautiful.

Above all, Bianca was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Alfredo, and her daughter Lucia (Michael) Testa of Hainesport. She was especially proud of her three loving grandchildren, Alessandra, Nicholas and Julia Testa. She is also survived by her sister Sofia in Italy, and was predeceased by her daughter Elena Pryor and her brother Cesare Galliani. Bianca leaves behind many dear relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 31st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road in Mount Laurel, NJ. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 1st at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Highway in Hainesport, NJ 08036. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Bianca's memory to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church at the above address or to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
