Richard L. Murchison, 71, of Cathedral City, CA, passed away, with family by his side, on May 12, 2015 in Kirkland, Washington, five months following the diagnosis of Adenocarcinoma.

Dick was born in Wardner to Harold and Snip Murchison on June 25, 1943. He went to high school at Kellogg High School and graduated from San Diego High School in 1963. Dick studied math at Grossmont College and after many years of work, retired as a Senior Project Manager of Boeing.

Dick supported the Human Rights Campaign. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family as well as traveling.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Snip Murchison.

Dick is survived by his brother Harold (Sonny) Murchison; son Trevor L. Murchison; daughter Angela M. Tanferani; and seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Human Rights Campaign. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Evergreen Hospice and also the Lodge of Aegis in Totem Lake for their support in his final days.

The family has placed a memorial bench at Hunt Cemetery, located near Cataldo in Shoshone County, Idaho.
