She was a gifted seamstress and known for her embroidery, quilting, crafts and clothin

She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and traveling

Parishioner of St. Bernard's Church in Lyon Mountain. She taught catechism class for over 20 years and was a former Regent and member of the Catholic Daughters, Court of Our Lady of Snows.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Merry Minstrels, Senior Citizens and the Lyon Mountain Mining and Railroad Museum.

Survived by six children and their families; grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister; many nieces, nephews and sisters-in-laws

Predeceased by her husband; her parent; a grandson, Jason Sorre; ll; two brothers, Joseph and Lawrence Trippany; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
