Eli Estridge, 77, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, at his home in Metamora.
Mr. Estridge was a member of the Metamora Church of Christ, and is survived by his wife, Margaret Estridge; five daughters: Margaret Meyers, Batesville, Emma Lou Grimes, Brookville, Virginia Turner, Connersville, Martha Hunter, Indianapolis, and Linda Barker, Hamilton, Ohio; four sons: Neal (Skip), Dick and Larry Estridge, all of Brookville, and Delbert Estridge of Columbus; three sisters: Pearl Eversole, Metamora, Fannie Shell, Brookville,and Margaret Cline, Trenton, Ohio; two brothers: Charles Estridge, Williamstown, Ky., and Robert Estridge, Brookville; 24 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Metamora Church of Christ, with burial in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Philips Chapel of Memories in Metamora. The family suggests that memorials be in the form of donations to the Church of Christ or to the American Cancer Society.
