Mae Hunter, 95, of Kevil, formerly of Paducah, died at 12:55 a.m.Sunday at Superior Care Home.
Mrs. Hunter, a native of Mississippi, was a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, James A Hunter of Kevil; a daughter, Frances Hester of Memphis, Tennessee; a brother, Glynn V Purdy of Coffeeville, Mississippi; a sister, Ophelia Fly of Water Valley, Mississippi; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie "Bill" Aubrey Hunter; a sister; and five brothers. Her parents were Luke and Ella Purdy.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roth Funeral Chapel. Russ Crosswhite will officiate, with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
