GIRON -- Frank G. Giron, resident of Albuquerque, born April 11, 1924, has gone to is eternal rest on March 29, 2005. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Eufricia Giron; his brother, Paul; his sister, Socorrita; and his brother-in-law, Bennie G. Baca. He is survived by his loving wife, Dilia of the family home; brother, Joe Jiron and wife, Heidi of Albuquerque; sisters, Sostia G. Baca of Albuquerque, and Betty Silva and husband, Gilbert of Belen. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Tom Lopez, Andrew Lopez, Nancy Zamora, Joe Gonzales, Linda Burdine, and Ben Baros; and many nieces and nephews. Frank proudly served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army, retiring with 22 years of service as SSG. He also retired from the State of New Mexico Corrections Facility as well as from the City of Albuquerque. Until recently, he worked for APD as a school crossing guard in Albuquerque. We will greatly miss and love you forever. Funeral Services for Mr. Giron will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE, with Visitation beginning at 2:30 p.m., a Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. and the Communal Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Burial will take place on Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Frank Jiron, Jason Baca, Armon Luna, Brian Sanchez, Gilbert Baca, and Gilbert Anthony Silva. Honorary pallbearers will be Milton Chavez, Art Acevedo, Andrew Lopez, George Zamora, and Damien Baca. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third St. SW 247-4124
