Mr. Galloway was born January 6, 1903 at Gravel Switch, Kentucky, a son of Jasper R. and Nora Ann Burden Galloway. He married Nancy K. Spivey June 25, 1925 in Jefferson City, Indiana. She died Jan. 29, 1992.
Survivors include four sons, Harry Galloway, Robert Galloway, Rudy Galloway and William Galloway; two daughters, Marice Shuck and Carolyn Young; three sisters, Vera Smith, Josephine Mattingly and Nancy Merritt; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, three sisters, three grandsons and one great-grandson also preceded him in death.
Mr. Galloway had worked in Bloomington's public service department for 28 years. Later, he was vice president and served on the board of directors of Nu-Air Corp., Bloomington for 10 years.
He was an active member of the Salvation Army.
