THE LEBANON ENTERPRISE, page 1, Friday, February 18, 1927. BRIEF ILLNESS PROVES FATAL. Mrs. J. R. Galloway Dies At Raywick Following a Heart Attack. BURIAL TUESDAY MORNING.

Mrs. Nora Galloway, wife of J. R. Galloway, died at her home in the Raywick section Sunday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock. Death was due to heart trouble and came unexpectedly. However she had been in poor health for more than a year, and for two weeks before her death had been quite ill. She was 61 years old and was well known and had many friends in the community where she lived. She was a member of the Methodist church, having united with it many years ago. Before her marriage she was Miss Nora Burden.

Funeral services conducted by the rev. R. H. Roe were held at the Methodist church at Raywick Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial was in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband and eight children, two sons, Elijah Galloway, Boyle county and Bernard Galloway of Akron, Ohio, and six daughters, Mrs. Edna Whitehouse, of Illinois, Mrs. Lizzie Sweeney and Mrs. Goebel Merritt of Louisville, and Mrs. John McCarty, Mrs. Clell Mattingly, and Miss Vera Galloway all of this county. Three brothers and five sisters survive.
