Mrs. Adoline [sic] "Addie" Courtwright, of 1524 N. Twenty-eighth St., died at 3:20 a.m., March 2, 1950, at Memorial hospital where she was admitted Jan. 6 for medical treatment. She was 85.
Mrs. Courtwright was born Sept. 18, 1864 in Kentucky.
At an early age, she moved to Tallula where she resided for 35 years.
Mrs. Courtwright and her twin sister, Mrs. Caroline Montgomery, of Springfield, celebrated their 85th birthday anniversaries last fall.
Mrs. Courtwight's husband died in 1937 [sic].
She is survived by one son, George W., and one daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Ulery, both of Springfield; one brother, James Luck, Tallula; her twin sister, Mrs. Montgomery; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at the Vancil funeral home.
Burial was in Greenwood cemetery, Tallula
