MINNIE WRIGHT TAKEN BY DEATH
Mrs. Minnie Wright, 79-year-old pioneer resident of the Kittitas Valley, died Sunday at the Sornsen Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Wright was born in Illinois in 1874 and came to Ellensburg with her parents at the age of eight years. She was married Dec. 16, 1896, to William C. Wright, who died in 1923.
She is survived by a brother, Raul Kinkaid, Ellensburg; a nephew, Earl Thomas of Hoquiam; and several other nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Evenson Chapel. The Rev. Laurence M. Arksey will conduct the services, with burial to follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Great nieces remember Minnie's home as being very elegant with large pictures on all the walls. She and Will owned three homes in Ellensburg. One of the large pictures is in possession of the granddaughter of Minnie's nephew, Ralph Kinkade. Minnie and Will did not have any children.
