Aretha Adkins
Midkiff- Aretha Adkins, 77, died September 22, 1993, in St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington, after a long illness. She was a homemaker. Surviving; husband, Abe Adkins, sons, William Edward of Detroit, Douglas of Hamlin, Joey Allen and Stephen Gregory, both of Midkiff,;daughters, Judith Ann Adkins of Midkiff, Shirlene Adkins of Huntignton, Tootsie Cupp of Barboursville; sisters, Merle Adkins and Agatha Wheat, both of Cincinnati; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Services were held Saturday at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, with the Rev. Milo Cummings and the Rev. Walton Smith officiating. Burial was in Mark Adkins Cemetery, Sias.
