Rachel Luna, 58, was born July 20, 1958 in Des Moines, the daughter of John and Angela Luna. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Unity Point Methodist Hospital.
Rachel went to East High school and was a full time, loving mother and grandmother. The one thing she enjoyed most was being with her family.
Rachel is survived by her children, Martine (Stacy) Ochoa, Monica (Francisco) Morales, Elena (Nelson) Segovia, and Rita (Jose) Merino; grandchildren, Kendra, Francisco, Ignacia, Jose, Rachel, Rito, Claudia, Angel, Martina, Rosie, Juancarlos, Antonio, Monica, Eric, Lydia, Alicia, Sydney, Matthew, Marco, Yuliana, Alfredo, Jivonni, and Jazlene; great grandchildren, Adrian, Angel, Javier, Jose, Juan, Joaquin, and Deysi; sister, Mary (Dagoberto) Luna-Rodriguez; brothers, Richard Luna, Joe (Linda) Luna, Roman (Pamela) Luna, Raymond Luna, Charles (Bette) Luna, Robert Luna, and Antonio (Donna) Luna; sister-in-law, Bessi Luna; brother-in-law, Danny Greenland.
