Carlos Carrizal, 75, was called by the Lord on January 6, 2017. Lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas, self-employed business of Carlos Carrizal Painting and Remodeling. He enjoyed race car driving in his earlier years and always enjoyed watching his Green Bay Packers. Carlos is preceded in death by his parents Ernesto Carrizal and Genoveva Mojica; and brother, Rodolfo Carrizal. He is survived by his wife, Connie Carrizal; daughters: Martha “Marty” (Henry) Figueroa, Carmen (Marcos Sanchez) Carrizal; son, Carlos Carrizal, Jr.; grandchildren: Fernie Arriaga, Mark Arriaga, Bryan Figueroa, Marlene Sanchez, Carlos Carrizal III; brothers: Ernesto, Roberto, Salvador and Joe. Carlos was a man of faith and served the Knights of Columbus as Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator in El Paso. (Council#13342) He will be greatly missed and left behind a legacy and wonderful memories which we will always treasure. Visitation will be from 4:00-9:00 p.m., with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 09, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church, 503 Hunter. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Honorary Pall bearers: Joe Carrizal, Sr., Ricardo Martin, Sr., Victor Perez, Frank Guzman, Jose Lazcano and John Coons. Pall bearers to serve will be Henry Figueroa, Bryan Figueroa, Fernie Arriaga, Marcos Sanchez, Rick Carrizal and Joe Carrizal, Jr.
