A celebration of life for Wilma Jean Gustin will be on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Hudson's Funeral Home at the Chapel of Mount Hope in Lander. Burial of the cremated remains will be at Mount Hope Cemetery immediately following services.

Wilma passed away on September 9, 2016 at the age of 100 at Wind River Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Riverton, Wyoming.

Wilma Jean (Isaac) Gustin was born in McCook, Nebraska on September 15, 1915 to William Isaac and Mabel (Hall) Isaac. The family moved to Wyoming shortly thereafter due to her mother's ill health. Her mother died in 1917 when Wilma was 18 months old.

She remained on the ranch helping her father and brother until she married Maxwell Randall Gustin on December 24, 1941. They were married 64 years at his passing in 2006..

She organized the Wind Mill Homemakers Club in 1938 and was a Charter member of the Wind Mill Grange in which she held many local and state offices. In addition to working on the farm with Max she had various jobs, census taker, school cook, and 20 years as a Nurses Aide at Bishop Randall Hospital retiring in 1979. Beginning in 1980 they spent their winters in Tucson, Arizona where she volunteered at the Wellness Clinic. They returned to Lander, Wyoming full time in 2003. On July 4th, 2003 they were the Grand Marshalls of the Lander Pioneer Day Parade.

Survivors include: Daughters Wyola Tait of Riverton, WY and Nerene Carmack of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Grandchildren LeAnn (Tracy) Dinnel of Casper, WY, Murray (Lisa) Shattuck of Erie, CO, Randall (Rachel) Tait of Breckenridge, TX, Russell Tait of Laramie, WY, Patrick (Connie) Shattuck of Casper, WY, plus many great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, brother Maurice Isaac and sister Lois McKinney.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the donor's charity of choice.
