She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Bessie Dills Queen. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Hipps and her husband, E. L. Hipps.
She was a charter member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church. She retired from Mission Hospital as a Registered Nurse with 26 years of service in the Neurosciences Unit.
She is survived by a son, Gregory Kent and his wife, Nancy, of Madera, California; a brother, Dwayne Queen and his wife, Sue Ellen, of Milton, Florida; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Rebekah Kent of Fresno, California.
