Ellen DiSabatino, age 78, of Wilmington, passed away on September 9, 2014 after a brief illness.
Ellen worked in Christiana Care's medical records until her retirement in 1998. Throughout her life, Ellen was an avid supporter of local Democratic candidates. Another passion was her love of the Jersey shore, which began as a child & continued to bring her much joy throughout her life.
Ellen is survived by her daughters Mary, of Newark, and Cathy of W. Palm Beach, FL as well as a host of friends & family. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, John & Mary Behringer and her brothers, John & Francis.
A memorial Mass to celebrate her life will be held on October 20, 2014 at 6 PM at the chapel of St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 2503 Centerville Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will be private.
