Mrs. G. W. Thompson Succumbs at Bray - Early Settler in County Is Dead After a Brief Illness -
Mrs. G. W. Thompson, 90, and one of the early Stephens county settlers, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T C. Johnson, near Bray, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Thompson made her home here with her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Wininger, 4th and Maple, and had been at the Johnson home only a short time.
Another daughter and son survive. They are Mrs. J A. Dosher, Wayne, Okla.; and D. B. Thompson, Davis, Okla.
Mrs. Thompson and her husband, who died five or six years ago, lived on a farm north of Dincan a number of years.
The funeral was to be held this afternoon at the old Duncan cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Steele Funeral Home of Marlow.
