Calvin M. Naylor, 77, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St., with his brother, Joe Tom Naylor of Dyersburg, Tenn., officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Naylor was born in Clarendon and graduated from Clarendon High School. He was a sergeant in the Army during World War II, serving in Normandy, Southern France, Rhineland and Ardenner.

He moved to Wichita Falls in 1945 and attended a watch-making school. In 1947 he moved to Amarillo and worked for the Post Office, retiring as a maintenance supervisor after 27 years.

He was a member of WAGGS Travel Club.

He married Robbie Nell Whitsell in 1945 at Clarendon.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Mike Naylor and Brice Naylor, both of Amarillo and Stan Naylor of Cedar Park; a sister, Betty Vick of Panhandle; a brother, Joe Tom Naylor of Dyersburg; and five grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Amarillo Parkinsons Support Group, P.O. Box 19721, Amarillo, TX 79114-1721; or BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176-0001.
