Wilbert Woodbury Bolin, 101 of Orangeburg died Wednesday January 4, 2017 at Trident Hospital in Charleston.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Crestview Baptist Church in Orangeburg with burial at Crestlawn

Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. James Preveaux officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Tim Thompson, Jay Thompson, Eddie Corley, Stuart Bolin, Cal Bolin and Dennis Bolin.

Mr. Bolin was born April 15, 1915 in Neeses, SC; the son of the late Michael Martin Bolin and the late Annie Hasletine Williams Bolin. He was a Charter Member of Crestview Baptist Church; served in the US Army and was a veteran of World War II; He was retired from Woodrow Tyler Floor Covering, a member of the Woodmen of the World and the widower of the late Ora Mae Etheridge Bolin and was preceded in death by a daughter; Nancy Buck; 5 brothers; Wells Bolin, Weimer Bolin, Wallace Bolin, Windred Bolin and Wesley Bolin; 4 sisters; Mary Mitchell, Virginia Kane, Nerine Bolin and Miriam Craft.

Survivors include a daughter; Betty (Tommie) Ulmer of North Charleston; a son; Kenneth O. Bolin of Charleston; a granddaughter; Karen B. (Dave) McFarlane of Hanahan, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews; 2 sisters; Agnes (Homer) Corley and Lillian Thompson both of Lexington; 2 brothers; Roger (Anita) Bolin of Sumter and Francis (Peggy) Bolin of Panama City, FL.

Friends may call at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Memorials may be made to Crestview Baptist Church; 3600 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118.
