ABKE Mildred "Mildew" Mildred "Mildew" Abke, age 92, of Pemberville, OH passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2007, at her residence. She was born on July 1, 1914, in Toledo, OH to Herman and Clara (Sieving) Davidter. On November 28, 1935, she married Willard "Flatbottom" Abke in Toledo, OH and he preceded her in death on August 27, 1989. Mildred was a clerk and cook at Bowling Green State University and a cook for a Fraternity and Sorority house in Bowling Green, OH. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, OH and its quilters group. Surviving Mildred are daughters, Delores (Fred) Moore of Haines City, FL, Joanne (James) Moncrief of College Park, MD; son, Gerald (Cheryle) Abke of Pemberville, OH; sister-in-law, Helen Davidter of Toledo, OH; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grand-children She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard "Flatbottom"; sisters, Ethel Vogt, Dorothy Kothe; brother, Paul Davidter. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, from 2-8 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. from Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, OH where there will be additional visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Officiating will be Pastor David Wietelmann. Interment will be at Pemberville Cemetery, Pemberville, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church immediately following the committal service at the cemetery.
