Family Story: Henry was a Brickmason and sometime after marriage to Josephine, he went to British Honduras (current day Belize) & worked building roads. They received their mail at Houma, La ; Daughter, Caledonia "Callie" was named after the town in which they lived, while there in Central America.


Through cousin Mike Millender, connections were made with descendants of the Price - White family. It was discovered Josephine's brother John Wallace Price who also served in the Confederacy with her husband Henry White also went to Belize/British Honduras after the war. He married and raised a family as well as built a plantation there, he named Louisiana Farm. Many of the Price - White family members would travel back and forth by ship between Louisiana and Central America.


Josephine's brother John/Joseph Wallace Price born 1 Sept 1837, Houma Louisiana, doesn't have a memorial to link. He died Aug 9th 1884 in Orange Walk Town, British Honduras - probably buried there. He married 2 April 1866 in Orange Walk British Honduras a second time to Petronila Espejo 1851-1931. They had 9 children.
