Georgia Hodge Mobley, 77, of Axton, died April 27, 2004. She was born Dec. 30, 1926, in Henry County, to Sam Henry Hodge and Elizabeth Flood Hodge. She was also preceded by her husband, John Thomas Mobley Sr., a son, John Thomas Mobley Jr.
She was a member of St. Paul High Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Ann Mobley and Lorrain St.Thomas; two sisters, Lizzie H. Hairston and Nancy O. Hodge; a brother, Odell Hodge; nine grandchildren.
Burial will be in Carver Memorial Gardens.
She was a member of St. Paul High Street Baptist Church.
