Abraham Ringle, the son of Abraham and Elizabeth Kimmers Ringle, was born in Old Madison Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in February 1811. At some point he removed to Ohio and them to Gratiot County, Michigan. He apparently moved to Ohio with his parents, since they died in Canton, Stark County, Ohio.

He married Henrietta Frederick in Ohio and the first first four of their twelve children was born there born there before they removed to Gratiot County, Michigan.
Their children were:

Amanda: 1869

Alice M. 1867
Augusta: 1868

Abraham died in 1904 in Hamilton Township, Gratiot County, Michigan, and was buried in the North Star Cemetery in North Star, Gratiot County.
