Robert Noble Allison was born on August 28th, 1940 in Houston, TX.

He passed away on August 11th, 2014. He grew up in Garden Oaks and graduated from Reagan High School in 1958 where he was a member of the golf team.

He went to the University of Houston and graduated w/ a Chemical Engineering degree.

He worked in various companies in the petrochemical industry including The Eads Co., Goulds Pumps, and WorleyParsons.

Robert "Bob" Allison had a myriad of interests.

He was an avid golfer during his teens and 20's.

Then his energy turned towards fishing and boats.

He also sporadically dabbled in pottery - collecting as well as creating it. He loved jazz, baseball, and anything dripping with sugar.

He is survived by his beloved wife Wanda; his son Stephen and wife Heather, his daughter Kathleen Goforth and husband Darren, and 5 grandchildren, Ava, Emma, Eleanor, Nicole, and Ryan.

He is also survived by his sister Marianne West, husband Leland, and nephew Brandon.

Services will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1101 Antoine Dr., Houston, TX 77055 on Sunday, August 17th at 2 pm.

A reception will follow at The Derrick 1127 Eldridge Parkway 77077.
