Cipriano, a longtime resident of Santa Cruz, passed away in his home. He was predeceased by his parents Antonio and Delfina Luján; in-laws Bernabe and Fabiola Garcia; brothers: Gaspar, Nasario, Benito (Evedulia), and Ernesto (Susie); sisters: Flora Martinez and Carolina Ortiz (Gilbert).

Cipriano was survived by his wife of 57 years, Aggie; daughter Merlene Cordova (Vince Tafoya); sons: Michael Luján (Gerrie Trujillo) and Steven Luján (loving wife Corrine); five grandchildren: Michael Luján, Jenna Luján, Nelson Cordova, Brandon Luján and Lexy Lujan; close ex-daughter-in-law Rose; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Cipriano loved his wife and family dearly. He joined the Army to serve our country and was an electrician by trade. He was a very hardworking man on and off the job. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and watching sports. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Public visitation and Memorial Service were on 2 Jan 2017 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial was on 3 Jan 2017 in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers: Michael Luján, Brandon Luján, Jenna Luján, Lexy Luján, Vince Tafoya, and Danny Enriquez. Honorary pallbearers: Luis, Sandra, Irene, Ernest, Leonard, Randy, Vicky and Danette.
