Marian Papas, born April 19, 1926. Dear daughter of the late Samuel and Pota Papas (Papaconstantinos), sister of the late Constantine Papas (the late, Helen Papas). Survived by her beloved nieces Pamela Papas and Roseann Papas Lambros and great-nieces and -nephew, Marya Corden-Aguilar (Steven Aguilar), Alayna Corden, Deane Lambros and Paige Lambros and loving godson James Rau-Stathakos. She will be missed by her devoted extended family and friends in Chicago as well as her St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church Community (Chicago, IL) to which she was eternally dedicated. She will be waked at Olson Burke-Sullivan Funeral & Cremation Center, 6471 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago, IL 60631 Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral at St Basil Greek Orthodox Church, 733 S. Ashland, Chicago, IL 60607 at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Basil Greek Orhtodox Church, Chicago, IL or Hellenic Cultural Museum, Chicago, IL will be greatly appreciated by Marian's family. May her memory be eternal.
