Lizzie was born most likely in IN, although some sources state OH, to John Franklin Blackburn and Sarah Ellen Mackey. Lizzie married first to Frank L. Marshall on Oct. 5, 1895 in Darke Co, OH, under the name of Lizzie Blackburn. Their marriage produced no children and was ended by Frank's death in 1922. Lizzie moved with her brother to Brownsville, TX and then moved to Los Angeles. It is uncertain if that is where Lizzie met her second husband, George Schultz, who she married on 31 Oct 1936. Lizzie and her husband eventually came back to Ohio. It is at her home in Piqua where Lizzie died.

Obituary:
Mrs. Elizabeth B. Schultz, 79, wife of George Schultz, 724 West Water street, died Saturday at 3:25 p.m. at her home. She had been ill for the past year. A native of New Madison, she was born January 4, 1873 to John and Sarah Mackey Blackburn. Her first husband, Frank Marshall, died in July, 1922. Her marriage to Mr. Schultz took place October 31, 1936. She was a member of the United Brethren church and the Missionary society of that church. Survivors besides her husband are a sister, Mrs. Clara Antonidis of Anderson, IN. Three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services in charge of the Jamieson funeral home will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the United Brethren church. The Rev. J.L. Armstrong will be in charge and burial will be in the Forest Hill mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and evening and until time for services Tuesday.

Note on Lizzie's place of birth: Lizzie parents lived on the boarder of OH and IN, which adds to the confusion of her place of birth.
