Jerry Allen Green, 72 of Marble Hill, MO passed away at his lifelong home on Tuesday December 20, 2016. He was born in the same home on January 29, 1944 to Jesse Albert and Inez Ruth Welker Green. He was preceded in death by his parents and two bothers, Carl Welker and Virgil Welker. Jerry was of the Baptist faith. He worked at the school for a short period of time before being seriously injured in an automobile accident. Jerry became a homebody after the accident. He loved to garden and to watch TV. When it came to animals he had a soft spot in his heart. He loved the companionship of a dog and cat. He will be missed by family and friends. He is survived by a loving brother Floyd (Jean) Green of Marble Hill and a loving sister Ruth (Jack) Faries of Jackson, MO. Visitation will be Wed December 21, from 4 PM till 8 PM at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO. Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Thur December 22, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Faries officiating. Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park.
