Adam Alburger, son of Adam Alburger and Sarah Cassel, was a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He married Julia Justus. Adam died on 8 Mar 1883 and was interred in the Wharton Street Methodist Episcopal Vault on 11 Mar 1883. (While it's generally held that interments at the Wharton Street cemetery were transferred to Mount Moriah Cemetery, it appears that a large number were actually transferred to West Laurel Hill Cemetery.) Adam's remains were transferred to West Laurel Hill Cemetery on 17 Jan 1906.

Sources include census records (1850 Southwark; 1860, 1870, 1880 Philadelphia), the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Death Certificates Index, the Philadelphia Inquirer 10 Mar 1883, and Pennsylvania and New Jersey Church and Town Records.
