Daughter of Jan Jansen Van Dyck and Teuntje Thijse.


Baptized on 29 April 1686 at Old First Dutch Reformed Church, Breuckelen (Brooklyn), Kings Co., Long Island, New York, witnesses: Arien Bennet, Anenietje Jans.


Married Simon DeHart, son of Simon Aersen DeHart and Geertje Cornelis.


Angenietje Janse Van Dyck was named in her father's will dated on 16 May 1735 (daughter Angentye, wife of Simon De Hart).


Will dated 16 May 1735 proved 9 Nov 1736. John Van Dyck of New Utrecht, Kings County, being in perfect health of mind and body. I leave to my children, John, Matthys, Catharine, widow of Daniel Hendricksen, Jannettie, wife of Capt, Rutgers Van Brunt, and Angentye, wife of Simon De Hart, all my personal property, except as follows, To my grand son John Stephens, 5 shillings, To my grand daughter Teuntie, widow of John Fleigh (Sleigh), £25, To the children of my daughter Catalynte, deceased, wife of Garret Kettletas, being 3 sons and 3 daughters (not named), each 5 shillings. I leave to my great grandson, John Van Beuren, son of my grand daughter Teuntie Ricpon (Richon), deceased, who was the wife of Dr. John Van Buren, Jr., the sum of £15. I make my sons John and Mattys, Rutgers Van Brunt, and Simon De Hart, executors. Witnesses: Cornelius Van Brunt, Joost Van Brunt, Theophilus Ellsworth, Christopher Codwise.


She is named in her husband's will on 30 July 1744.


Will dated 30 July 1744 proved 27 Nov 1745. Simon de Hart, of Brookland, at the place called Gowanus, being at present weak in body. After the payment of all debts and funeral charges I leave to my wife Angeltie the use of £600 during her life or while she remains my widow, and 2 cows, and "her firewood ready cut at her door"; Also the large room in my house and the little room next to it, and all household goods and a negro-girl and a negro-woman, and the use of the kitchen, and my silver tankard. I leave to my son, Symon de Hart, all my real estate in the Township of Brookland in Kings County, with all houses and buildings and all cattle, except as reserved, and all my farm with all rights and privileges. And he is to pay to my 5 daughters, Geertie, Teuntje, Jannettie, Angentie, and Tryntie, £1000. I leave to my daughters Janetie and Tryntie, 4 cows; I make my wife and my son Symon, and my son-in-law, Jacobus Lott, and Peter Cortelyou, and Hans Bergen, and my daughter Angentie, executors. Witnesses: Samuel Barrie, Peter van Pelt, Abraham Lott. "My wife is to have privilege of keeping a wagon, and my son Symon is obliged to keep the horse ready for the use of the wagon."
