Linus Markuson of Kalispell died in the Whitefish hospital last night. He had been a resident here the last 12 years and formerly lived at Galata where he homesteaded in 1910. He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Markson is survived by his wife Esther Victoria at home, six daughters, Mrs. Emmi Schroer of Lothair, Mrs. Elizabeth Leighton of Chester, Mrs. Evelyn Jones and Mrs. Esther Marie George, both of Kalispell, Mrs. Lillian Cockrell of Galata and Mrs. Mildred Visocan of Rayneford; two sons, Harold Markuson of Galata and Leonard Markuson of Shelby; one brother Levi Markuson of Crainbrook, B.C., 27 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services at Waggener-Campbell chapel. Burial in Conrad Memorial cemetery.
