Grandma Seidl, who was in her 83rd year, died January 9th at 9 o'clock a.m., at her residence at Bushdale. She was born in Germany the 29th day of June 1826. She came to Texas in 1872 and has lived here near Bushdale in Milam county, ever since. She is survived by one son, Mr. B. F. Seidl and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Broeckel, whom reside here at Bushdale. The body was laid to rest at the Bushdale cemetery at 3 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral service was solemn and impressive, Rev. Father Spinneveber officiating. This entire community extends to the bereaved relatives its condolence in the loss of so good and grand old lady as Grandma Seidl.
